This book is an important part of the abuse prevention series. When children imagine bad touches, they automatically associate the touch with something bad. They associate a bad touch, with a bad or evil person. One of the biggest obstacles in abuse prevention is to overcome that thinking, and teach children that bad touches or confusing touches can often come at the hands of someone they know and like.
In this book, we teach children, in humerous ways, exactly who that bad or confusing touch might come from. That it could be their teacher. Maybe a parent. Maybe a realative. Maybe a close friend of the family. But the one place it is unlikely to come from, is from wierd people or monsters. We also talk briefly about why someone close to them might give them a touch that feels bad or confusing. Towards the end, we go over, once again for repetition, how children should respond to a bad or confusing touch given to them. Enjoy!
