Never To Be Broken Rules
While the focus of our prevention programs work on helping children identify and deal with uncomfortable touches and with specific psychology that makes children vulnerable, there are also several concrete rules that can be given to kids, that under normal circumstances, no other person would have a need or right to violate. There are several rules you can teach children that will make it nearly impossible for a molester to be successful. The most important rule is, teach children to always check with another adult before doing anything they are unsure of, or feel uncomfortable about. Teaching children that the only thing they use their personal parts for is to go potty, is easy for a child to remember. Teaching children that there are never to be any secrets kept from their parents, also helps. This book is a collection of 7 rules that children should never, ever break under any circumstances.
Keep in mind that while basic rules like these are great, they are only one part of a comprehensive program of abuse prevention.
