Children get lost all the time. Normally, the incident turns out to be nothing more than a scary experience for both of you. However, a child who does not know what to do when lost will panic. They will become upset, and often times, the individual who might come to their rescue is also the person who you would last want them to. It’s just how it works, the people who are going to be paying attention to your child’s body language may be the ones who could have sinister intentions.
Teaching children what to do if they are ever lost, not only prevents the possibility of them being snatched during this time, but will result in you and your child being reunited faster, saving everyone some grief.
