Our children’s books for child safety are the anchor of our safety programs. One problem with traditional means of safety education is that children have no context for the instruction, because it is something they haven’t experienced before. (And hopefully never will.) Therefore, safety training without examples, stories, and visual displays such as pictures is usually ineffective. A second problem is the sheer magnitude of dangers our there. This means there is a lot of information to cover. The best way to teach it all and have your children be able to commit the skills to memory is by teaching the information through stories and books.
