If you have an average of 20 preschool or early childhood students per year and you remain in the field for 20 years and you apply these programs in your classroom, statistics show that you will have saved anywhere from 30-60 children from sexual abuse! If you implement our safety programs, it is possible you could teach several children something that will save their life! You will have prevented another couple dozen emergency room visits or serious injuries! You are in a position to make a tremendous difference in the fight for child safety.
We have specialized programs designed for early childhood. (3 years old through second grade). These programs teach important safety concepts, in fun ways that children will enjoy. They are toned down to be suitable for educational environments, and are easy and resourceful for teachers to use. Easily implement the materials alongside your regular curriculum. Best of all, we provide these materials free of charge to teachers and care givers.
Plus, center directors and child care providers.... There is an added incentive for child care directors and owners who would like to make safety a priority in their centers. Become a sponsor site, and boost your enrollments while you are helping to protect kids. We all know that safety is the first thing parents consider when placing their child in a center. Not only can we save lives together, but we can also help you add another high quality criteria to your program that parents will love, and will give you an advantage in both getting and keeping enrollments.
As a Sponsor Site, you will receive a center certificate and parent brochures outlining you commitment to child safety for both current and prospective enrollments. This added benefit for parents will help you add more new students, as well as keep your current enrollments happier. We only have a few easy to meet requirements:
1. You must have a classroom computer in you Pre-school and school age rooms. (In home facilities need 1 computer for children’s use.)
2. Implement each safety curriculum at least once a year, and have teachers provide feedback forms.
3. Have teachers complete required training. (Training modules count toward continued education credits.)
We will be offering this new and completely free center sponsorship in late 2006 or early 2007. However, we are taking applications now. If you are interested, please e-mail us at support@keepyourchildsafe.org, and ask for a sponsorship form.
